Sable Woods is an operations coordinator at AMC, supporting the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN). She also co-leads AMC’s BIPOC ERG (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Employee Resource Group). A lifetime learner, one of the things that she enjoys about AMC is the opportunity to expand her knowledge, grow her skills, and advance her career. Of her work, she finds it rewarding to support nonprofits with missions to improve the quality of life of others. “I love that we use data and research to make informed decisions so that missions and goals become achievable,” said Sable. As BIPOC ERG co-lead, her focus is to build community and to provide a safe space for discussions and learning. Sable has BA in English literature from Roosevelt University. Outside of AMC, you’ll find her exploring new food spots in Chicago with her fiancé, when she’s not escaping the city for an Airbnb with a fire pit.
