Welcome, Cord Blood Association

Welcome, Cord Blood Association

By AMC

We’re pleased to announce that AMC has been selected as the new management partner for the Cord Blood Association (CBA). We began providing management services to CBA on January 1, 2023.

Founded in 2014, the CBA promotes both public and family cord-blood banking to save lives; change medicine; and aid in the treatment of certain blood cancers, inherited genetic diseases, bone marrow failure, and immune diseases. Dedicated to expanding the collection and usage of cord blood, the CBA focuses on education, advocacy, quality assurance, research and development, and market expansion.

Each year, the CBA hosts the Cord Blood Connect International Congress, the cord blood industries annual conference that draws physicians, researchers, leaders and more in the cord blood and perinatal tissue community from around the world.

“It’s an honor to welcome the Cord Blood Association to AMC,” says AMC CEO Steve Smith. “The work of CBA’s dedicated board of directors and members is both impactful and far reaching, helping to improve lives. We are proud to be a strategic partner to them and support them in achieving their business goals, expanding their reach, and advancing their mission.”

With this new partnership, CBA becomes AMC’s 24th healthcare and scientific association partner.
