We are very pleased to announce that Susan Farrell Stock, MPS, has returned to AMC in a new role as  Chief Operating Officer (COO).

As COO, Sue will oversee and provide strategic leadership to several key areas of service for our client partners. These areas include Creative Media Services, Professional Relations and Development, Strategic Event Management, and Member, Registration, Data, and Mail services. She will also guide implementation of corporate initiatives and serve on AMC’s Leadership Team, which oversees the strategic direction, business objectives, and growth of our company.

Sue has nearly 30 years of leadership experience working with professional societies and association management companies. She also has a history with AMC, first joining the company in 2011 as Executive Director of Consulting Services before leaving to pursue independent leadership consulting full-time in 2018. In 2021, Sue returned to AMC in an interim role as Chief Information Officer while recruitment for that position was under way.

Her decades of expertise in strategy and development are ideal for the role of COO. Together with the AMC Leadership Team, she will play an integral role in continuing to drive growth forward for AMC and our client partners.”

Along with her roles at AMC, Sue has been an interim executive director for several organizations and provided oversight to education and product development teams at SmithBucklin and HIMSS. She currently also is an adjunct faculty member for the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and Marquette University.

Sue holds a BA in Communications from the University of Illinois–Chicago and an MS in Public Services Administration from DePaul University.

Sue began her role on February 7, 2022.
