We are honored to announce that two AMC staff are being recognized this year with an Association Forum’s Forty Under 40® award.
Allison Lundberg currently serves as the marketing and communications manager for the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM). Allison came to AMC in 2012 as a marketing coordinator and was promoted to manager 18 months later. During her tenure, she has stood out as a trusted leader with strong management skills, a passion for innovation and client service, and a keen ability to see the big picture while also understanding the minute details. A well-respected and highly rated presenter at industry events (her sessions receive 5-star ratings), Allison is dedicated to advancing her field and inspires all with whom she works.
Kari Messenger, CMP DES, serves as the senior meetings manager on the meetings team, overseeing conference and event planning for several AMC clients, including the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM), Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON), International Eczema Council (IEC), and Personify. Kari joined AMC in 2015 as a meetings manager and was promoted to senior manager in 2019. During her time at AMC, she has been an exceptional leader who skillfully manages both clients and staff, offering creative solutions that exceed client expectations and mentoring staff who are less experienced. A consummate team player, she listens, learns, inspires, and collaborates—all with the goal of helping clients and staff achieve excellence.
