We’re thrilled to be recognized for the second year in a row with a Diversity in Business Award from the Daily Herald.
“We are honored to have our efforts to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion acknowledged,” says AMC CEO Steve Smith, MS CAE FAAMSE. “AMC is committed to being a workplace that is free from bias and one in which diverse voices are heard, perspectives welcomed, and experiences honored. We are proud of the staff who have chosen to take this journey with us as we continue to learn, grow, and evolve together.”
The Diversity in Business Awards recognize businesses that have shown exceptional commitment to promoting practices that advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace, in business leadership and who bolster equality across all areas of diversity, including age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, race and religion.
AMC joins 13 other companies in the Chicago area that are being acknowledged for their commitment to diversity and inclusion. Awardees will be profiled in a special section of the Daily Herald Business Ledger on September 18.
