We’re pleased to announce that AMC has been selected as the new management partner for the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine (SAHM).
Founded in 1968, SAHM is a multidisciplinary organization committed to promoting the health and psychosocial well-being of adolescents and young adults through advocacy, research, and advancement of clinical practice. SAHM’s members represent more than 30 countries and work in a range of fields from medicine, nursing, psychology, and public health, to nutrition, education, and law. SAHM holds an annual educational conference, develops clinical care resources and training curricula, and publishes the highly regarded, peer-reviewed Journal of Adolescent Health.
SAHM’s Executive Director Ryan Norton will partner with a team of AMC staff who will provide operational management and support.
“I am looking forward to working with AMC and believe their experience navigating the opportunities and challenges healthcare associations face today along with their operational expertise will help drive SAHM’s strategic goals forward,” said Norton.
“We are thrilled to welcome SAHM to AMC,” said AMC CEO Steve Smith. “Since the beginning, SAHM has brought together a diverse network of professionals who have advanced adolescent-focused healthcare and research. AMC is proud to be a strategic partner to SAHM and their Executive Director Ryan Norton and support their goals to grow globally and be the leading authority in optimal adolescent health, well-being, and care.”
AMC began providing management services to SAHM on January 1, 2024.
