AMC was founded in 1974 by Art and Dagny Engle, who believed that volunteer-led professional associations would benefit from a shared staffing model. The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) was soon formed and became AMC’s first association partner. ARN remains a valued partner today.
AMC has been with the Engle family since its inception, with sons Scott, Jeff, and Mark taking over management for several decades before transitioning to new roles on the AMC Board of Directors.
Today, a Leadership team of senior executives with expertise in diverse areas of the association field have been appointed by the Engles to collaboratively lead the strategic direction of our company. Throughout our history, associations and their missions have been at the heart of everything we do, and we remain dedicated to helping them achieve their goals.
