At the Annual 2015 Fall Summit of the Nursing Organizations Alliance (also known as NOA or The Alliance), Joan Kram, FACHE, CAE was elected to serve on the NOA Coordinating Team for a three year term.
The Coordinating Team manages the property, business and affairs of the alliance, and serves in a similar capacity to an organization’s Board of Directors.
The Alliance was formed in 2001 to provide a forum for identification, education and collaboration building on issues of common interest to advance the nursing profession. Membership in the Alliance is open to any nursing organization whose focus is to address current and emerging nursing and health care issues.
AMC Principal Jeff Engle said, “We’re extremely pleased when our company’s leaders can share their expertise with leading organizations in the association industry. Joan is an excellent example of our leaders doing just that, and we are proud of her for being elected to serve in this role.”
In addition to the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, Kram’s association, three other nursing organizations managed by Association Management Center are also members of The Alliance. They include the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses, and the National Association of Neonatal Nurses.
