Nicole Wallace, MBA

Nicole Wallace, MBA, is executive director of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM) and Renewable Natural Resources Foundation (RNRF).

Nicole brings more than 23 years of experience in operational management, governance, and strategically guiding organizations in realizing their fullest potential. Her ability to see the possibilities of what an organization can achieve extends to the communities it supports as well. “Associations are empowered to enact profound change for the communities they serve; they are essential resources for improving outcomes,” she says.

A growth-oriented leader, she builds deep partnerships with boards of directors to achieve business goals and leans on both her tactical and strategic leadership strengths to guide organizations in improving profitability and performance.

Nicole is also committed to investing in the professional development of her colleagues, fostering an inviting team culture that values the contributions of those at all career levels. With a blend of professionalism, humility, and humor, she coaches team members with genuine care and a focus on transferring knowledge and elevating skill sets.

Nicole began her career in the healthcare space before transitioning to association management. She came to AMC in 1999 and has held roles including operations administrator, operations manager, and senior operations manager.

In 2022 and 2023, she was recognized as a Trailblazing Leader in the workplace by her AMC colleagues.

Nicole has an MBA in organizational leadership and change management from Southern New Hampshire University.

In her free time, Nicole enjoys crafting as a soap maker, gardening, fostering the growth and curiosity of her two elementary-aged children, reading, and watching football with her family.
