Carly Reisner is the executive director of the American College of Academic Addiction Medicine (ACAAM) and the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM). A strategic thinker with a diverse background in medical association management and consulting, she is an innovative leader who empowers boards to make data-driven decisions and is skilled at developing partnerships that generate revenue for nonprofit organizations. Prior to her current roles, she was the CEO for the American Pain Society and executive director for the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine. Carly has her bachelor’s degree from DePaul University in Public Communication and Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Outside of AMC, you’ll find her digging in the dirt with her son, playing with her dogs Bernice and Penny Lane, or immersing herself in a compelling narrative.
