As director of development, Susan Vogel leads our grants team in driving growth for our association clients by securing private and public grant funding for diverse projects that include medical education, workforce initiatives, DEI programs, payment models, data registries, and quality measures. Susan has successfully collaborated with AMC clients to obtain multimillion-dollar grants. A deep thinker and strategist, she has a rich background in nonprofit management, program design and evaluation, grant-seeking, and grant-making. She uses her expertise to develop compelling applications and fiscally feasible budgets, provide oversight through the grant lifecycle, and lead her team in managing a portfolio of more than 100 funders. Susan has a master’s degree in Psychology from New York University. Outside of AMC, you’ll find her on urban hikes along Chicago’s shoreline and through its vibrant neighborhoods. She delights in camping, hiking in the woods, and indulging in her love of crafting.
