We’re happy to announce that Julie Nemmer, CPA, has been promoted to vice president of accounting and financial services.

In her 14-year tenure at AMC, Julie has been a trusted financial partner to our association clients, their finance committees and board treasurers, providing exceptional financial guidance and analysis to ensure they are fully equipped to understand their financial performance and make data-driven decisions. She is highly skilled in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and maintaining strong internal controls and compliance monitoring.

“Julie Nemmer brings a deep level of expertise to her new role as vice president of accounting and financial services that will have a positive impact on our clients’ financial health and business goals,” said AMC CEO Steve Smith. “She excels in her ability to lead and educate associations and boards in making strategic financial decisions and in identifying cost-saving measures.”

Julie began her career as an audit manager in public accounting before coming to AMC in 2009 as a finance manager. As she took on more responsibilities through the years, she was promoted to senior finance manager in 2016 and director of client accounting and financial management in 2022.

Julie has a BA in accounting from Northern Illinois University and is a certified public accountant (CPA). She began her new role on June 1, 2023.
