Wendy-Jo Toyama Named 2024 Woman of Influence Award Recipient

Wendy-Jo Toyama, MBA CAE FASAE, AMC executive and CEO of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM), has been named the recipient of the 2024 Woman of Influence Award by Association Forum.

A transformative leader, Wendy has been a changemaker throughout her 25-year career in the association field with notable success driving revenue and membership, leading DEI initiatives, building a culture that encourages diverse voices, and mentoring. She is well-known and sought out for her expertise, leadership, and drive to innovate positive change and growth in the association community. An active volunteer, Wendy is a member of the ASAE Research Foundation Research Committee, past chair for the ASAE Diversity + Inclusion Committee, and secretary for the National Coalition for Hospice and Palliative Care.

Given by Association Forum, the Woman of Influence Award honors trailblazers in the association industry who have a proven track record of innovation, impact and paying it forward through coaching, mentoring and service to others.

Wendy will be presented with her award at Association Forum’s Women’s Executive Forum™ on March 15, 2024, in Chicago.
