We’re pleased to announce that AMC has been selected as the new management partner for the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP). We began providing management services to ACVP on October 1, 2021.

Founded in 1949, ACVP is the oldest veterinary specialty organization recognized by the American Veterinary Medical Association. Its membership includes more than 2,000 board-certified scientists who have been setting the standard of practice for veterinary pathology for the past 72 years. Dedicated to furthering scientific knowledge, education, and training, the ACVP publishes the peer-reviewed journal Veterinary Pathology and holds a renowned scientific meeting annually.

“We’re excited to welcome ACVP to AMC,” says AMC CEO Steve Smith. “ACVP has been on the forefront of the science and practice of veterinary pathology, and we are proud to be a strategic partner to them as they look to expand their reach and advance their organization to the next level.”

Sarah Bilissis will serve as ACVP’s executive director. A forward-focused executive at AMC, Bilissis brings more than 25 years of experience in strategic operational management and building trusted partnerships with association boards to the role.

With this new partnership, ACVP becomes AMC’s 23rd healthcare and scientific association partner.
